According to the vote result last week, most of the respondents prefer to purchase clothes online, but not other products which are higher price. However, AC Nielsen Consumer Report in year 2008 showed that there are 55% of Malaysians purchased airline tickets or reservations online. There are lot of things that sold online these days. Books and stationery, business and industrial, camera and photo, clothing, shoes and accessories, furniture, gift, hardware, healthy and beauty, home and garden, jewelries and watches, mobile phones, musics and movies, online services, traveling and weather forecast.
Second reason is online shoppers are being influenced by the attractive model pictures. Owner usually attached the pictures of models with the stylish clothes to attract visitors' attention. Usually online shoppers are being inspired and intended to purchase their favourites. This is mainly because of the models have a good body shape hence the clothes they wore look nice too.
Another reason that make online shoppers purchase clothes online because of the price is affordable. Compare with the mobile devices and electronics, prices of clothes are much more lower. 1st Week Poll Analysis - Shoppers Love Clothes!
In my opinion, clothes are favoured by high percentage of consumers due to it categorized as a need and want product that required by everyone nowadays! For example, it doesn't matter if you use the same particular bag for months, or a same necklace up to a year, but when comes to clothes, here's the different. Number of buying clothes is automatically higher than any others. Why? you may feel boring with the same outfit for a particular time, hence you want to look in different styles. In addition, clothes are easier to carry even if it's from online.
Accessories and others come next after clothes. Accessories are favoured due to they can mix and match with the clothes and obviously there are easier to carry too. For example, belts, shoes, bracelets, bags, and ear rings. The other products that didn't specified clearly might be books and Cd's, furniture and household product, mobile devices, hardwares and components, beauty and cosmetics.
Jewelries consisted of only 8% online purchasers, it possibly due to the reason of costly price and consumers do not have enough confidence on identifying the real gemstone or diamond. Besides that, the jewelries market out there is not as remarkable as other fields hence the consumers' demands on jewelries are lower.
In my point of view, there has none of consumers prefer purchase electronics such as cooker, fridge, microwave, and computer through online due to it is heavy and troublesome during delivery and consumers might not know the condition of the electronics too. Most of them have to take time to consider because they are household products. In addition, they have to take risk if the electronics are damaged in the half way of delivery.
In short, consumers tend to buy products which are simple and convenient through online. Do you agree?
In the coming posts, we will talk more specifically about the reasons of clothes attract most of the online shoppers, and some favour websites of e-boutiques. Stay tune and continue to vote for our poll. Your participation is appreciated. Thanks.

Link to us: http://snipurl.com/u73q9
Today, we are going to talk about some short stories of online shopping. As we know, internet is only available commercially in year 1989. However, the first World Wide Web server and browser were only created in the second year, which is 1990.
After that, Book Stacks Unlimited, an online bookstore with the original idea to offer every book ever published to everyone in an easily accessible way begins in year 1992. This is the first online bookstore created before the birth of Amazon.com. However, the implementation was unsuccessful and this provides a chance for the other company to share this concept.
After this first online bookstore, here comes the boss which led the way of online shopping. Now, guess who is the boss? eBay and Amazon comes to your mind? Or the Book Stacks Unlimited? Hmm…… actually, the answer is PIZZA HUT! For your information, they were the first national chain to offer online ordering (with the option of home delivery) in year 1994 and the test restaurant was in Santa Cruz, California.
Then, in year 1995, Amazon was launched. Originally, it was created to share the concept of Book Stacks Unlimited. But soon, they provide many other goods in order to satisfy the consumers due to massive demand.
